Overview
HēroEffect is a Creative Vision House, It's built for founders and creators who have something real to say but no system to say it with. This is the story of how I identified that problem, found the insight that changed how we think about branding, and built a solution around it.
Takeaway
A brand is only as strong as the value underneath it. HēroEffect exists to prove that.
Extract what's already there, build around who you actually are, grow around likeminded creators, and the rest will come naturally.
Problem
a lot of modern businesses are purposeless,
They hire designers before they know what they stand for or spend money on ads before they've earned anyone's attention.
The market always corrects itself, Always.
What gets missed is that every founder, artist, and creator has something they were built to fight for. A value so core to who they are, it feels less like a choice and more like a prophecy. When they build a business around that, the brand has soul, the team has direction, and their result makes the world a better place to live.
that makes them a Hero and their business, their Hero Effect.
But most founders need help live up to their HeroEffect's potential.
Why Did I Care
In the past year, I've been reading a lot about Mithraism and Zoroastrian Ideas and philosophy, and it has thought me a lot about values, purpose, and heroism. on this project my learnings intersect with who I really am, I'm a problem solver, an ENFJ, and a storyteller who obsesses over the why behind everything.
And the problem I keep running into, wherever I look, there are people moving fast with no real direction. They're executing without a reason or a belief.
Well, I get it. The world's loud right now. Trends move faster than most people can think. And when everything is competing for our attention, the easiest thing to do is just follow and Blend in.
The thing is that I can't watch talented people get lost into that chaos and do nothing about it. and I'm not speaking from theory.
I've killed my own projects too. Every one that failed had the same thing in common, I was building on top of no real belief.
I know what that looks like from the inside, and I know exactly when it starts to go wrong.
HēroEffect is the first thing I've built starting from the right side up. Everything else came to me naturally afterwards.
That's my personal value, I fight for values. For the idea that who you are should drive what you build. In this case, your business should be the loudest expression of what you believe in.
My HēroEffect concept isn't necessarily an agency. It's a community and a smaller proof of what a purposeful society looks like.
Philosophy
The more I read, the more I kept returning to one idea:
Chaos is the default, and Order is something you actively create.
The order is not the goal tho, you don't reach it, order is the practice of living itself. but order isn't an option when value or purpose isn't explicitly defined.
So I started reading about Values and got to a place I've always been! Value isn't what you choose nor create, it's what you grew up learning how to solve and feel responsible for, almost like a prophecy, if you will. So it doesn't need invention, it needs extraction.
I noticed that these philosophies weren't asking people to become someone else. They were asking people to understand who they already were and live in alignment with it. I started seeing brands the same way.
A brand shouldn't be built by asking, "How should we look like?" It should start by asking, "What problem are we built to solve and why?"
Because when a business is built around something real, everything else becomes a reflection of that foundation, a real community will naturally be attracted towards your brand, and the better you solve that problem, the more you'll be rewarded with success.
This is an organic pattern in nature, it's everywhere if you're looking for an example.
Insight
nothing's invented, everything's a reflection of nature. so your brand needs to be a reflection of your own nature.
Challenges
Building a brand about extracting brands means yours has to be the most resolved one in the room, I am what I can do for others. Every inconsistency is a contradiction, Every vague decision is proof the system may not work. The hardest part wasn't defining what HēroEffect stood for (I know that pretty well), it was making sure everything I'm building actually proves it. I got so tempted to add more sub-brands or sections, more products, more ideas, and I actually worked on them, but I ended up striping them down since they were not necessary or they were making HēroEffect confusing for others to understand.
My Solution
Solution is the HēroEffect, what's different about Hē is that most agencies give you a brand. HēroEffect gives you a mirror.
We don't build identities from scratch, that's not how it's supposed to be done. We extract what's already there, your values and obsessions. and we build a brand system around that. it'll be uniquely you. That's Hē Collèctive.
Hēc: The creative team. Research, art direction, identity, motion, and design, all built from your core outward.
But a brand is only as strong as the person behind it. And you are defined by who you surround yourself with. so then we invite you to the community. That's Hē Hoùse.
Hēh: A Hero community of founders and creators who operate by the same mindset, that your work should be a direct reflection of your values.
One sharpens your brand. The other sharpens you. it's a cycle.
Together they are HēroEffect. A Creative Vision House built on one belief: the most powerful brands aren't invented. They're Extracted.
Deliverables
A complete brand identity, the visual language, typography, color, and system guidelines that prove the methodology works when applied to my own concept.
A website built to showcase works and show thinking and style.
MANIFEST 01, the launch campaign that introduces HēroEffect. the purpose of the campaign was to just build curiosity around our name for public. At its core is a short film produced entirely through AI generation platforms, then self edited, motion designed, and colour graded from scratch. Every character in it is original. developed with full reference image galleries, written backstories, and defined identities. Fully realized people built from the ground up, using the most rigorous AI character development methodology that is under practice as off today.
A conceptual brand partnership with Gentle Monster, because a brand built on extracting vision needed a collaborator who sees the world differently too. Eyewear. Vision. My philosophy of looking backwards to find what's always been there. fits with this collab perfectly.
And finally some goods. Not a product line. some pieces of clothing that carry the HēroEffect's name. a gift to my early stage customers. Because the people who wear a brand before it's famous are the ones who actually believed in it first.

Rabbit Hole
Hey, thanks for reading the Rabbit Hole. The info prior to this was the formal case-study format of my project, but I want to treat the Rabbit Hole section more as an informal article where I talk about my work in more depth. This part isn’t essential, think of it more as a backstage conversation after a TED Talk, more like a story so I am not applying my HēroEffect brand tone to it. So this is for you if you feel like reading.
What is HēroEffect?
I don't want to sound dramatic when I say this, but HēroEffect is basically a representation of who I am as a business concept. What I mean is that if Parsa was not a human but a concept, how would he be? Well, the answer is HēroEffect. I encountered ancient ideas and extracted a worldview that resonated with me, then I personalized it. I effectively took a mythological framework and asked “what would this look like if applied to an individual founder in the modern economy?”, I believe what I did was a very contemporary reinterpretation of an ancient archetype. I also had some existentialist questions like “why am I here?” or “what does my life mean?” and my answer was “meaning can be constructed by recognizing the patterns in your life and using your resulting values to act upon the world”.
Let's get a bit more philosophical/psychological about it. I am in an era in my life where I am questioning everything that I have done and am trying to find meaning and connect dots to figure out a future for myself. and as I was reading about philosophy, I stumbled upon Zoroastrianism and Persian Mithraism. very interesting ancient topics to nerd out on. In what I've learned, there is a cosmic dualism (in Zoroastrianism they call it Asha vs. Druj - or truth and order versus falsehood and chaos), the way to Asha is through something called "the Threefold Path", which are Humata, Hukhta, and Huvarshta. each mean "Good Thoughts", "Good Words", and "Good Deeds". and it gets you to order, but order is something you actively create (it's important to know that it says create, and not restore) which ties to my Hē Collèctive. And Mithraism adds that order is something you "collectively" create, the brotherhood, in Mithraism brotherhood meant something more like survival and power, a secure network you grew inside of, or as they call it "Mithraeum". It contained an oath or a contract which breaking the oath to the brotherhood literally meant breaking a sacred bond or in HēroEffect term the Community of us who want to gather ourselves around who we can trust and grow around, that's where I came up with Hē Hoùse. Back to the Threefold, your thoughts shape your words, your words shape your deeds and your deeds shape the world around you which isn't about only you anymore. My read on it is that I feel like Zoroaster advises us to listen to our intuition and trust that the problem you care about more than others chose you to solve it. I learned countless valuable info but the piece I sliced for my own plate was this: all that could mean, everything that has ever happened to me took place for a reason, anything that even feels like something random was meant to happen to at least, plant an idea or an understanding in my head, in better words, I can find meaning in everything that has happened to me by integrating it to who I become, not necessarily implying a predetermined cosmic intention. When you look at life at a much larger scale you can connect dots you never would have thought you’d connect. It got more interesting as it went. In psychology they call this “retrospective pattern recognition”. Meaning we are good at finding patterns and might think that we were destined to do something, I don’t believe we are destined to actually end up doing what we’re best at, not everybody will. But I believe that “our accumulated experiences have made us unusually sensitive to certain problems, and those sensitivities can reveal where we might create meaningful value”
But about myself, I came to realize that I was built to do something that has to do with Creativity, Community, Love, Leadership and Mentorship, Guidance, Meaning, and Deep understanding. And I found where each of them came from. I kept track of the patterns of every little thing that happened in my life up to this moment, for me to create my biggest project of my life, so I’ve built something that excites me whenever I even think about its name, HēroEffect.
I realized I need to build what I already am into something bigger than me, that’s the only time I can truly express what I care about. Allow me to put it this way: take every injustice in the world that bugs you, every unsettling truth you wished it never existed as a child. Then imagine you are the mighty hero who’s chosen to fight for this cause, so you design a very special kind of weapon that is engineered for you to fight those specific injustices. And again, I’m not implying that “we have no free will and where we end up is pre-written in permanent ink”. I am saying that I found out, considering how you grew up, what you feared, what you loved, what you’ve done, where you’ve been, etc; there is a cause that you will fight harder than others for, something that you feel like people should care more about. I’m sure you have that. That right there is the villain/s in your hero journey! Sounds dreamy right? And the cool part is that you can totally live it. Imagine you aren’t focusing on money, instead you are laser focused on fighting your biggest villain, that you get rewarded with money as a result, and you re-invest the money back to your business for bigger impact, that sounded like a super power to me to be honest. Well, I realized when you find the greatest villain, you should engineer your weapon against it. I did the same. I engineered the HēroEffect.
For me HēroEffect is my weapon to fight my biggest villain, soullessness of modern day world, we chasing an artificial concept called money for the sake of happiness, we build brands and try to sell at any cost for the sake of sales target, we think a good life or a better world is a result of a successful career, like the God (if any) created its most intelligent creature who’ll crawl on top of the food chain for paychecks. I’m tired of seeing artists who do whatever others are doing for views and spotify plays, or maybe as Jung says the villain is not necessarily something external, but it’s an internal representation of what I don’t want to become, works both ways for me. And I believe we are holding the map upside down. In my deep research (one of my rabbit holes - history of finance and empires - I definitely recommend it), they all mostly land at one point where money comes as a reward when you solve a problem, the bigger the problem the bigger the potential of more money, and the better you are at solving it, the more consistent that money will flow towards you. So it felt natural, the structure was there, staring at me in the eyes. So I started creating, brainstorming and iterating so much that I had couple of notebooks filled with so many crossed out ideas, prototypes, sketches, etc; until it was the time for my thesis project, in my last semester, I knew that since I finally have the time to focus on this new thing that could potentially change my life, I didn’t hesitate to take my HēroEffect and start building it properly under the supervision of Christian Steffan our professor and a good amount of peer reviewing, I managed to actually build my HēroEffect (which is a funny use of words, since in my terminology, you are the hero who have the values you fight for, and your tool -your business- is your “hero effect” - which makes my “hero effect,” the HēroEffect - OMG I just realized I am a nerd).
I am very happy with how it came out. I tried to design an ecosystem around purposeful entrepreneurship. And my favourite part is that it can outlive me, yes this is my thesis and philosophy but using my repeatable methodology HēroEffect can even operate without me, I’d really love to hear other people’s thoughts on this. If anybody asked me, this would be my favourite project. And I’m pretty sure that if I find the opportunity I will probably start yapping about it for a good amount of time. And please, please if you want to talk about how this methodology can apply to you, get in touch with me. I’m not just happy to but quite excited to have a chat about it with you, so don’t be a stranger please. Let’s talk about real stuff, maybe I can learn from you, who knows!
